Storytelling playing cards also made for Nave a Vela

They gave me a color palette to work with and some stories
including literature classics, fairytales and myths.
 I was supposed to take elements from the narratives, mix them up
and draw each card combining elements from 3-4 different tales.

Being a bookworm that I am, I had so much fun

thinking about the cards and drawing them as well.

Here are some of my personal favorites.

 I really like the ones I was able to add some texture and small details

like the greek vase, Pinocchio's wooden texture and roses' petals.

I honestly enjoyed the process very much. I remember giggling all the time

when working on the card with the witch and the strong duck

(I think that's my favorite of all cards).
